Getting to the Conference

IEEE RFID 2014 is co-located with RFID Journal LIVE!  in the South Concourse of the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando, Florida, which faces International Drive.

Registration Desks

Please pick up your badge at the Journal LIVE! registration counters first located on the 2nd floor of the South Concourse across from the rooms S230A – S230H. Then, proceed up the escalator to the 3rd floor of the same concourse. Our registration desk will be across the rooms S330A – S330E. Your IEEE RFID 2014 materials (program book, proceedings USB, gifts, etc.) will be available at our registration desk.

Speakers and Presenters:

Briefings will take place in the morning on Wednesday, April 9 and Thursday, April 10 at 8:00 am. Plan to attend the speaker briefing no the day you are scheduled to present your paper. You will get to meet the session chair as well as other authors in the session. Find out what other presenters will be talking about, and see how your work fits into the theme of the session. Session chairs will moderate each session and introduce the speakers. An LCD projector, projection screen, and laptop will be provided. Please bring a USB drive with your presentation to load onto the laptop during the briefing in the morning. Plan for a 15-minute presentation and 5-minute question/answer period. The dress code for speakers and presenters is business attire.

RFID Journal has negotiated a discount nightly rate of $199 (plus tax) at the Hilton Orlando and a discount nightly rate of $175 (plus tax) at the Rosen Centre. Both hotels are located in close proximity to the Convention Center.
